The C4110Y/Z is our most technically advanced, ruggedized, progressive scan digital camera in a compact design ideal for industrial, scientific, medical, aerospace, transportation and other applications. The C4110Y/Z incorporates a number of unique features tailored to reduce system complexity, maximize interface bandwidth, and expand the usable operational range.
The C4110Y/Z features the Sony Pregius IMX253MY/ZR Global Shutter CMOS image sensor with a native resolution of 4112 x 3008 in a 1.1” optical format delivering up to 9.6 frames per second with GigE Vision® Power over Ethernet output. The sensor is available in monochrome (Z) or color (Y) versions and has a unique 2x2 pixel sub-array where each pixel within the sub-array blocks a different polarization filter angle (0, 45, 90 or 135 degrees). This allows the user to obtain images with four different polarization angles in each image capture. CMOS technology eliminates smear columns from areas of ultra-bright intensity and specular reflections in uncontrolled lighting applications. The camera has excellent sensitivity, fast frame rates, exceptional dynamic range and supports strobe outputs, trigger inputs, automatic exposure, automatic gain control with multiple LUTs, and other high-value functions.
The Imperx Cheetah line provides excellent image quality with Imperx proprietary processing. In addition, Imperx puts you in control and gives you full access to raw data without corrections. Using the simple, intuitive GenICamTM compliant user interface, you can quickly apply image corrections, if desired. The camera allows the user to select and view images from each polarization angle or save raw image files with all four polarization angles. The C4110Y/Z’s flexibility, outstanding sensitivity, and speed make it suitable for a broad range of applications from reducing glare off glass, water, and painted surfaces to materials science or 3D image reconstruction.
