Imperx Appoints Brian McGee as Director of Engineering

Imperx, a leading provider of ruggedized cameras for aerospace and defense, machine vision, scientific and medical applications, announces the appointment of Brian McGee as their new Director of Engineering.

Mr. McGee brings extensive technical and leadership expertise within spectroscopy and scientific instrumentation. His previous work focused on scientific-grade CCD, CMOS, and InGaAs sensors across the spectrum from deep UV to near IR, ranging from custom sensor partnerships to OEM development of fully integrated systems solutions. Mr. McGee has held key roles within Ocean Optics enabling customer success in uniquely challenging one-of-many and many-of-one solutions.

Mr. McGee holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of North Florida and a master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Central Florida, is a patent holder in applied spectroscopy, and an honorable Veteran of the US Navy.
