Jarred Scott Joins the Imperx Team
February 2, 2026: Boca Raton, Florida
Imperx, a leading manufacturer of ruggedized cameras and imaging systems, announces the appointment of Jarred Scott as their new Director of Quality Control. Mr. Scott brings over 20 years of experience in the Aviation, Space, and Military industries, with a focus on implementing QMS procedures to ensure organizational compliance to all applicable FAA & AS9100 & ISO standards.
Mr. Scott has held key roles within Aerospace Technologies Group over an 18 year period, starting as a QA manager and evolving into the role of Director of Quality Assurance and Chief Inspector of the FAA 14 CFR 145 Repair Station. He is a certified ISO Internal Auditor, allowing for seamless oversight of the Internal Auditing Program and implementation of APQP at Aerospace Technologies Group. He aided in the development and implementation of the AS9100 Rev. C and ISO requirements and was a lead participant in the Change Control Board. He also monitored the Material Review Board within his time at that company and delegated Source Inspector from Boeing, Airbus, Honda Jet, and Falcon Jet.
Beyond his past employment at Aerospace Technologies Group, Mr. Scott has assembled and tested high performance actuators including brushless DC motors, Stepper motors, induction motors with integral gearing systems and feedback devices at CDA Intercorp. He also comes equipped with an associate’s degree in computer engineering from the American Technical Institute and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt. This provides him with a foundation of the DMAIC framework, and the specific skills needed to excel within his newly appointed role at Imperx.
Mr. Scott’s appointment was confirmed during a time of expansion within Imperx, where his unique set of qualifications will be a great asset moving forward. With the release of Imperx’s first family of SWIR cameras, along with the Panther series of cameras that were designed with an embedded AI processing core, the addition of Mr. Scott will help lead the way in manufacturing the highest quality and most reliable products on the market.
