Imperx to Unveil Enhanced Patented Process Video Recorder for Industrial Machine Vision Markets at Rockwell Automation Fair

November 1, 2019 BOCA RATON, FLORIDA

Imperx, Inc. will demonstrate highly advanced automation solutions at the premier industrial automation event at Booth #662 in Chicago, Illinois on November 20-21st, 2019. New camera releases ideally suited for machine vision/automation markets will be showcased with inventive new camera demonstrations.

Imperx, an honored Rockwell Encompass partner,  prepares to exhibit at another Rockwell Automation Fair. The Imperx booth will showcase fresh camera innovations and automation systems designed to fulfill and even exceed the demands of virtually any automation process including (but not limited to): manufacturing, food & beverage, packaging, automated inspection, parcel sorting and machine  vision.

Imperx’s Competitively Priced Cameras Provide Superior Imaging Performance and Solutions to Meet the Ever-Growing Demands of Industrial Automation

Worldwide, manufacturing companies are looking to increase their manufacturing capacity by fully identifying their lost production time with the goal of optimizing their automation processes. To meet this demand, Imperx will showcase their enhanced PATENTED 3rd generation EtherNet/IP™ Process Video Recorder (EIPVR), featuring camera resolutions up to HD as well as using machine vision inspection results as the trigger event for video acquisition. EIPVR is an innovative event recording system that captures high speed video when you need it to minimize downtime and associated losses by identifying performance problems including: machine malfunctions, raw material problems, safety problems, process mistiming and operator error, as well as eliminating line stoppages and troubleshooting line/equipment integration.

In addition to receiving triggers via EtherNet/IP™, Imperx’s 3rd generation EIPVR system has been enhanced to receive triggers from the following:

TCP/IP:
Opens up the possibility of using a standard PC to send triggers.

Digital Input (24 VDC):
Normally, a PLC is used to sense a digital input and generate an EtherNet/IP™ trigger. In cases where a PLC is not available, we also accept a digital input directly to our EIPVR controller.

Inspection Result:
Imagine an inspection system that not only finds a defect but also provides the video that caused it. Inspection results can be absence/presence, code reading, contamination, color matching, OCR, and more.

Camera Solutions for Successful Applications
Visitors of the Imperx booth (#662) will also have a chance to explore their extensive line of industrial and ruggedized cameras, offering innovative solutions for even the most diverse demands and applications. Their experts will be available for questions regarding camera solution and will be happy to assist with proper camera selection.
