Imperx CCD cameras have been used worldwide for 25 years in machine vision, robotics, optical character recognition (OCR), processing, aerial imaging, satellite and radar imagery.

Despite the proliferation of CMOS sensors, CCD sensors are still used for applications that demand precision and a high degree of sensitivity.  For example, CCD sensors continue to be used in medical, scientific and industrial equipment. Even the Hubble Space Telescope uses a CCD sensor.

The Imperx Bobcat series are programmable, high quality, low noise, CCD cameras with a high-density FPGA for programmable features. They include 8, 10, 12 or 14-bit outputs and are compatible with popular output interfaces.

IMPERX CCD cameras are fully programmable using the easy-to-use IMPERX camera configuration software and provide many ways to synchronize to external lighting, events or other cameras.
